Obituary of Connie Pearl Dye Moore
Connie Pearl Dye Moore, 72, of Fairview, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021 at the Stonerise Nursing Home in Morgantown, WV. She was born February 17, 1949 in Rivesville, WV, a daughter of the late Edgar and Helen Sigley Dye. She is survived by her husband, James “Jim” R. Moore of Fairview, WV.
Connie was a graduate of Rivesville High School, as well as the Webster Community College in Fairmont. She was a member of the Highlawns United Methodist Church in Rivesville, WV. Connie was a homemaker, loving wife, and mother. She was also an in-home caregiver in the Marion County area. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, volunteering with Kids for Christ program at church, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Connie is survived by her son, Ben and his wife Patty Sine of Fairmont, her daughter Missie and her husband Richard Kerens of Fairmont, her grandchildren, Allison Sine, and Carter Kerens, her step-children, Denise and her husband Greg Chiartas, and Jamie and his wife Brenda Moore, as well as step-grandchildren, Tyler Chiartas, Elliott Chiartas, Kayla Satterfield, and Josh Moore, two step-great grandchildren, her brother, Rick Dye of Fairmont, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Richard Sine, Jr., and her brother, Ronnie Dye.
The family has entrusted the arrangements to Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second Street, Rivesville, WV. Family and friends are invited to visitation which will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 4PM until 8PM, and on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 10AM until 11AM. The funeral will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, November 6, 2021at 11AM with Reverend Stanley Merrifield officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Fairmont.
