Obituary of Patricia "Pat" Ann Satterfield

Patricia “Pat” Ann Satterfield, 76, of Colfax, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born October 14, 1944 in Jenkins, K.Y., a daughter of the late Lloyd “Shorty” and Virginia “Gen Gen” Mullins Fleming. Pat was a 1962 graduate of Monongah High School and a 1964 graduate of Morgantown Beauty Academy. She was a Christian by faith. Pat began her career as a hairdresser in Colfax and later worked with Alcan Aluminum in Fairmont where she retired with over 30 years of service in the rolling department. She had been an avid league bowler, and enjoyed camping with her family in West Virginia. She loved to travel, especially to the beach and to visit with her daughter. Pat was blessed to have a close group of lifelong friends that she considered family. She loved the lunches, painting classes, trips, and getaways she was able to have with them. Pat is survived by her son, Todd and his wife Patti Usary Satterfield of Colfax, and her daughter, Terri Satterfield and her boyfriend Marlon Jones of Stanford, FL. As well as her grandsons, who were her pride and joy, Austin Satterfield and his girlfriend Jess Stuart, and Jansen Satterfield, all of Colfax. She is also survived by her sister, Mary and her husband Dan Toothman of Salem, OH, her nieces and nephews, Brian Toothman, Valerie Toothman, Chad Satterfield, and Kelsey Kyer, her former husband, Rusty Satterfield of Clarksburg, and her beloved grand-doggies, Roxi, Fynn and Maze. Memorial donations may be made to the Marion County Humane Society, PO Box 905, Fairmont, WV 26555. The family has entrusted the arrangements to Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV. In accordance to her wishes, cremation services have been held. Public visitation, a memorial service and celebration of Pat’s life will be held at the Tree of Life Church, 810 Vermont Avenue, Fairmont, WV on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 5PM until 6PM.
