Obituary of Orfeo Julio Deno Perrella
Orfeo Julio Deno Perrella, 90, of Fairmont, West Virginia died on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at his residence. He was born December 21, 1930 in Fairmont, WV a son of the late Patsy Perrella and Josephine Pallotta Perrella. He is survived by his wife Helen Elizabeth Ann Sauro Perrella of Fairmont, WV.
Mr. Perrella was the beloved father of four children. He is survived by 2 sons and a daughter in law Danny Perrella of Virginia Beach, VA and Mark & Mary Perrella of Fairmont, WV, a daughter and son in law Patty & Jiri Nemec of Glen Carbon, Illinois and he was preceded in death by a daughter Denise Marie Perrella in 2008. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren Patrick, Matthew, Elizabeth, Victoria, Sofia, Angelina, Jessica and Stephanie, 4 great grandchildren Brooks, Blake, Scarlett, and Juniper and many cherished nieces & nephews. Orfeo was preceded in death by 2 brothers Dominick Perrella & John Perrella and 2 sisters Mary Pignanelli & Eva Dora Rasky.
Mr. Perrella was a retired engineer from the North American Philips in Fairmont, WV. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Fairmont, WV and served in the United States Navy on the U.S.S. Hector Naval Ship during the Korean War. He was a graduate of East Fairmont High School and attended Fairmont State College. Orfeo was a man of all trades. He was an excellent machinist & carpenter and could fix anything.

The family will receive friends at the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554 on Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 2-8 p.m. The Vigil Service will be held in the funeral home Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. The Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be held in the Immaculate Conception Church, 329 Maryland Ave., Fairmont, WV 26554 on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Jojan Joseph, C.S.T., Celebrant and assisted by Sister Stella Cronauer, C.S.J.
