Obituary of Joseph Brandon Rider

Joseph “Brandon” Rider, 41, of Fairmont, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at his residence. He was born in Fairmont on January 10, 1980, a son of Pamela Kim Keplinger Rider and the late Joseph Charles Rider. Brandon was a Christian by faith and had attended Trinity Assembly of God. He was a 1999 graduate of East Fairmont High School. Brandon made many friends over the years and enjoyed playing video games with his daughter, hanging out with his friends and family, target shooting at his family’s property, and he loved to cook. In addition to his mother, Brandon is survived by his daughter, Tatiyana Renee Rider of Fairmont; sisters, Nicoline Harr and her husband Phillip of Fairmont and Savanna Kristine Haun of Fairmont; nephews, Jackson C. Lilley and Brock Charles Harr; his step-father William “Mick” Haun of Morgantown; aunts and uncles, George “Tommy” Rider of Fairmont, Anna Rider Pollutro and her husband James of Fairmont, Tina Rider Tyson of Virginia, and Frank Keplinger of Wisconsin; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family has entrusted the arrangements to Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, June 25, 2021, at 1 p.m. Private burial services will be held at a later date.
