Hello...I'm sorry for the loss of your beloved one. I know he will be deeply missed. I am one of the people who bought some of his items during the auction. I am an artist by nature though haven't been able to thoroughly pursue it because of family obligations of being a single working mother. Now that my children are on their own, it is my turn to be fully creative. As I was looking at the auction online, I was only going to bid on the kiln, because I didnt really need anything else. Well, I ended up with art books, photo frames with photographs, many many books, etc. Now as I am looking through these items, I was called by some other force to look online to see who John Hartung was. I believe some how a part of him spoke to me to tell me it really is time to pursue my artistic nature. I just felt a connection maybe because I too am a teacher, love to travel, make pottery, love to draw and paint, books are an addiction, and I have my own photography framed and hanging in my house. His memory will also live on through what I do with the items I purchased at the auction. Thank you so much for not throwing away the things he loved like so many people do after a loved one passes. My prayers are with your family, Carrie
