Obituary of Michael Keith "Mole" McDonald Jr.

Michael Keith McDonald Jr. “Mole”, 43, of Fairmont passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at his home. He was born on April 7, 1978. Michael is survived by his mother, Joyce Biddle; two sisters, Melody (John) Long and Kathy (Tom) McDaniel; a niece, Amanda (Logan) Marino; two nephews, Johnny (Jessie) Long and Tommy (Violetta) McDaniel; a great-niece; four great-nephews; several aunts and uncles, Ernest (Jenny) Biddle of Fairmont, Rozella (Richard) Knight of Fairmont, Darlene (Russell) Henderson of Grafton, and Carla (James) Reddick of Martinsburg; as well as several cousins. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Michael Keith McDonald; paternal grandparents, William and Violet McDonald; and his maternal grandparents, Charles and Hazel Biddle. Michael was a 1996 graduate of East Fairmont High School. He was the former owner of MJ’s Sports Bar on Merchant Street in Fairmont and was currently working at local Hot Spots throughout Fairmont where he enjoyed his patrons. In accordance with Michael’s wishes, his body will be cremated. The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Sunday, May 23, 2021, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. A private committal service will be held for the family at Clermont Cemetery in Fairmont at a later date.
