Obituary of Lillian Rose Chrislip

Lillian Rose Chrislip, 51, of Fairmont, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the Genesis Fairmont Campus Tygart Center in Fairmont. She was born June 6, 1969 in Fairmont, WV, a daughter of the late Robert Jack Valentine Sr., and the late Mary Ellen Harding White. She was preceded in death by her husband Chris Crislip. Lillian was a homemaker in her own home which she enjoyed taking care of and sharing with her husband Chris. She loved spending time with her family at gatherings and was devoted to her special dog “Gizmo”. Lillian was survived by her three children, Breed Moore of Fairmont, Andrew Hall and Matthew Hall, her grandchildren, Bella, Breed, Patience, and Kierra Moore all of Fairmont, her siblings, Robert Jack Valentine, Jr and his wife Becky Valentine, Rivesville, WV, Rease and his wife Berty Wix of Fairmont, Charles “Pudgy” and his wife Pam Wix of Rivesville, Bernard “Smokey” Wix of Farmington, Sheila Costin and her companion Robert Dixon of Farmington, Ada and her son Joe Wix of Rivesville, Etta Bright of Grant Town, Erma and her husband David Watkins of Rivesville, Billie Valentine and her companion Alf of Florida, and Carol Horvath of N.C. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and her good friend Loretta. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her step father, Charles White, her maternal grandparents, Marshall and Emma Harding, her paternal grandparents, Ed and Lillian Valentine, her granddaughters, Abagail Moore and Aryonna Hall, her brother-in-law, David Bright, and her sister-in-law, Yvonne “Tootie” Wix. Lillian’s family would like to thank WV Hospice for the care and kindness they provided Lillian throughout her illness. The family has entrusted Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second Street, Rivesville with her funeral arrangements. In accordance with her wishes, cremation services will be held.
