Obituary of Robert "Bob" L. Bower III

Robert “Bob” L. Bower III, 68, of Catawba Community passed away suddenly on April 6, 2021 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. Mr. Bower is survived by his wife, Neva Lloyd; children, Rick Bower, Rose (Emily) Bower, Cheryl Bower, and Crystal (Bill) Crane all of Fairmont; step-children, Stacy (Ryan) Price, Shawn (Trish) Ramsey, and Steve (Kristi) Ramsey; grandchildren, Stephanie, Justin, Meghan, Rikki, Vanessa, and Chris; great-grandchildren, Braiden, Riley, Blaine, Savannah, Morgan, Rowan, and baby Noe on the way. Bob was the oldest of six boys. His brothers are Jay (Susan) Bower, Kevin Bower, Mark (Shelley) Bower, Keith Bower, and Dean (Ginger) Bower. Bob is also survived by a special ex-daughter-in-law, Karen (Jack) Shore as well as several nieces and nephews. Bob loved hunting, fishing, being in the mountains, and spending time with family (especially teaching the kids and grandkids about nature). Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Nellie Bower and longtime wife, Donna Bower. The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Friday, April 9, 2021, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Gary Steele officiating.
