Those who knew Tom understood his work ethic and desire to achieve his goals. At early age, he sold night crawlers to the local fishermen and spent his school years working at the Pantry Store in Rivesville. Recently, he worked at West Virginia University Hospitals helping others and bringing smiles to patients faces.
Tom was a “Rivesville Guy” that appreciated his community. He made a lot of memories in Greentown and managed and bartended at Greentown Legends and I-ROCK Lounge. He had a passion for fishing with friends on the Cheat River and spending evenings around the card table. He earned the nickname “Dirty Tom” for his competitiveness and excellent poker skills. He enjoyed watching sports with friends and he cheered on the Minnesota Vikings and followed the Florida State Seminoles.
He was an excellent son that cared for his mother and father. He made a habit of eating with his family on a daily basis. His humor and matter of fact statements will be missed. He enjoyed getting one ahead of his friends and never letting them forget it.
