Obituary of Harold Edward Dennison Jr.

Mr. Harold Edward Dennison Jr., 62 years of age of Parkersburg, WV and formerly of Fairmont, WV passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021. He was born September 24, 1958 in Fairmont, WV the son of the late Harold and Peggy Hawkins Dennison Sr. He is survived by his wife Linda Fortney Dennison; two daughters Haley Board and husband Matt of Parkersburg, WV and Hillary Dennison of Parkersburg, WV; three grandchildren Hayden, Hunter and Conor and three sisters Linda Thompson, Paula Vilone and Sheila Rowe and her husband Tim all of Fairmont, WV. He was also preceded in death by two sisters Beverly Humphrey and Marlena Kay Dennison. Hal was a 1976 graduate of East Fairmont High School. Following high school he was an iron worker and then became a member of the Teamsters Local 175. He worked many years driving trucks throughout the tri-state for ABF Freight. He enjoyed the peace that came with riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and going hunting in Marion and Wood Counties. While living in Fairmont, he spent time boating on the Tygart River and attending West Virginia University football games.
