Obituary of Dolores Michael Wade

Dolores Michael Wade, 89, of Rivesville, West Virginia died Saturday, February 13, 2021 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. She was born May 12, 1931 in Carolina, WV a daughter of the late Joseph Morris and Retha Mae Carder Morris. She was preceded in death by her first husband Richard Sanford Michael and by her second husband Harold Gene Wade. Mrs. Wade is survived by her 3 sons and 3 daughter in laws Richard S. & Beth Michael of Rivesville, WV, William J. & Robin Michael of Rivesville, WV and Dana E. & Joyce Michael of Gandeeville, WV, a daughter and son in law Afonda Lynn & Timothy Adkins of Rivesville, WV, a brother and a sister in law Russell & Terry Morris of Farmington, WV, a sister Monaka Morris of Brownsville, PA, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Dolores Glover, 2 brothers Joseph “Buck” Morris and Virgil Morris and 4 sisters Erma Williams, Hallie Zickfoose, Bonnie Dennison and Ruby Tengo. Mrs. Wade was a Foster Parent for the State of West Virginia Foster Parent Program and a member of the Hagans Christian Church. She enjoyed gardening, woodworking and being with family & friends. The family will receive friends at the Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second Street, Rivesville, WV 26588 on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Isaac Harmon officiating.
