Obituary of Shirley Sue Horner

Shirley Sue Horner, 74, of Rivesville passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Fairmont Medical Center. She was born on May 13, 1946, a daughter of the late Jesse Russell Sine and Marge Marie Haught Sine. Shirley is survived by three grandchildren, Marissa Sue Pownell of Cranberry Township, PA, Kailee Bree Pownell of Fairmont, and Christian Scott Pownell of Rivesville; three great-grandchildren, Gabriel Alexander Osacar, Kadri Sebastian Hughes, and Legend Nasir Kree Hughes; her brother, Kenneth Richard Sine of Fairmont; and sister, Nancy Carpenter and her husband Buzzy of Fairmont. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, William Jack Horner and daughter, Tracey Rachell Horner. Shirley was a 1964 graduate of Clay-Battelle High School and worked at Westinghouse and North American Philips. She was Methodist by faith.
