Obituary of Carolyn Sue McLeary

Carolyn Sue Carr McLeary, 73, of Marion Ave., Fairmont, WV, went with the angels to rest in God’s loving arms on Tuesday, February 13, 2018.   She was surrounded by her husband and daughters at home.   Carolyn was born February 22, 1944 in Fairmont, WV, daughter of the late Harold E. and Mary Lemasters Carr.   She graduated from Fairmont Senior High School.   She had been employed at Owens Illinois for 18 years.   Last working in the selecting dept.   She later continued to work as a realitor for ERA Pitrolo/Williams and Century 21.   An avid golfer, she belonged to Green Hills Country Club and was  a member of the Mountaineer Ladies League.   Carolyn also enjoyed trips to Florida with husband Tom in their motor home.   She also very much enjoyed attending classic car shows.   Survivors include her loving husband, Thomas McLeary of Fairmont, WV (Married 57 years),   two daughters, Jennifer Ann and her husband Michael Gazsi of Morgantown, WV and Tammy Sue Vasco of Pittsburgh, PA,   Six grandchildren, Ashley, Winnie, Lina, Kane, Meredith, and Logan,   Three great grandchildren, Rhien, Myiah, and Anthony,   She was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry Carr, Harold Carr, and Ronald Carr.   The family would like to thank all friends for their prayers during this difficult time.   The family is also very appreciative to David and Elaine Bartrug for their concerns.   Carolyn has chosen cremation services.   Family and friends will be greeted at Ford Funeral Home, R. C. Jones Chapel, 1410 Country Club Rd., Fairmont, WV from 11am until 1pm on Thursday, February 22, 2018.   A memorial services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1pm, with Pastor Ken Wright officiating.    Burial will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Fairmont, WV.   The family requests that all memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
