Obituary of Tina Louise Shipley Wolfe

Tina Louise Shipley Wolfe, 55, of Fairmont passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018, at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. Tina was born in Fairmont on September 3, 1963, a daughter of Edward “Lee” Shipley and Nancy Pownell Shipley.

Tina is survived by her son, Troy Shipley and his wife Amy of Fairmont; her daughter, Damee Hartman and her husband Chris of Fairmont; four grandchildren, Tyler Mick, Jade Mick, Sophee Hartman and Cooper Hartman; her brother, Rodney Shipley of Fairmont; her sisters, Tammy Long and her husband Bill of Fairmont and Renee Kerns and her husband David Efaw of Fairmont; special aunts and uncles, Bob and Renee Pownell and Connie and Jim Moore; close friends, Linda Stutler and Cathy Williams; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Tina was a 1981 graduate of East Fairmont High School and a graduate of Fairmont State School of Nursing. She was a member of the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church and worked as a LPN at United Hospital Center for over 20 years. Tina loved her family and doing great things for others. She was a true homemaker and enjoyed quilting and crafts. She loved being a nurse and despite her challenges, never lost her skill of nursing.

The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at 1 p.m. with Pastor John Abersold officiating.
