I met Bruce when he moved to Rock Lake with his parents and brother Brian. I became instant friends and was welcomed into a second family. Wonderful people and memories. We got into a lot in those high school and college years. Mostly good. Bruce and I were radio hosts on the Thursday Beelines radio show on WTCS. I did the news and Bruce did sports.. We were roommates at WVU or commuter buddies making the trek north every day. We were as close as brothers in a lot of ways. To say I will miss him is an understatement. The sudden death is a shock, but life is about experiences and memories, and I am fortunate to I have many of those in the 50+ years that we’ve been friends.
