Obituary of Kellie Brianne (Klinger) Fitzpatrick
Kellie Brianne (Klinger) Fitzpatrick, 41, of Bridgeport, passed away surrounded by family, on Friday, May 15, 2026 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. She was born on March 12, 1985 in Anderson, Indiana, the daughter of Kimberly S. Hilderbrand Klinger and the late Galen “Paul” Klinger.
Kellie was a proud 2003 graduate of Elizabethtown Area High School and West Virginia University, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in social work. She was a faithful member of the Bridgeport United Methodist Church for many years. Prior to attending Bridgeport UMC, she was a member of St. Paul’s UMC, where she sang in the choir and played bells. Kellie is most recognized for her service in the Bridgeport UMC Preschool, where she worked as an Early Leaner 3-year-old Teacher, and in the after school Joyful Noise Program. Earlier in her career, Kellie worked with her friends as a photo attendant at Hersheypark in Hershey, PA, where visitors would visit her as they “Get the Picture”.
Kellie loved music, as she was a talented clarinet and piano player. She also enjoyed track, softball, crafting, and volunteering throughout her community. In college, Kellie was a member of the Zelta Delta Phi Sorority, where she formed a special bond between her sorority girls. If you knew Kellie, you loved Kellie. She enjoyed the simple things in life, including her hoodies and milk in hand. Kellie’s fondest love was spending time with her family, especially her beloved children, whom she adored, Raegan and Daniel.
In addition to her mother, Kellie is survived by her loving children, Raegan Fitzpatrick, and Daniel Fitzpatrick of Bridgeport, sisters, Kristin Bennett and her husband Alex of Martinsburg, and Katelyn Garner and her husband Reginald Jr. of Mobile, Alabama, great grandmother, Mary Lou Hilderbrand of Bridgeport, nieces and nephews, Morgan Bennett, Francis “Julian” Klinger-Garner, Quincy Garner, and Hazel Garner. She is also survived by her mothers-in-law, Kathleen, Leigh, and sister-in-law, Beth Fitzpatrick, all of Oregon, and aunt Deborah Andis and her husband Randy of Indiana, as well as her cousins, Andria and Ross, and special extended family members, Robert Harker, Brenda Workman, and Lisa Stephens.
In addition to her father, Kellie was preceded in death by her great grandfather, Harry Hilderbrand.

The family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Allen Chapel, 215 East Main Street, Bridgeport. Friends will be received in the funeral home on Monday, May 18, 2026 from 4pm until 6pm. Visitation will continue at the Bridgeport United Methodist Church, 251 Worthington Drive, Bridgeport, on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 from 10am until 11am. The funeral service will be held in the church on Tuesday at 11am with Reverend Dr. Matthew Paugh officiating. A service of committal will follow in the Bridgeport Cemetery.
