Obituary of Linda Kay (Bartlett) Boyles

Linda Kay (Bartlett) Boyles, 82, of Fairmont, peacefully passed away at St. Barbara’s Nursing Home on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. She was born in Grafton, WV on September, 2, 1943, a daughter to the late Lowell Mason and Ethel Virginia Phillips Bartlett. She is survived by her daughter, Nena Beynon and her husband William, her granddaughter, Emily Beynon, her brother, Charles Bartlett and his wife Lana, and her sister-in-law, Cathy Bartlett, her nieces, Jo Etta Van Horn, Maria Marstiller, and Brenda Wood, and a nephew, Michael Lucas. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her son, Walter “Elmo” Boyles, her sister, Shirley Bartlett Lucas, and her brothers, Lowell “Sonny” Bartlett, Phillip Bartlett, and Stanley Bartlett. Linda was a 1963 graduate of Grafton High School, attended Fairmont State College, and was a Methodist by faith. She worked many years as a certified dietary nutritionist for St. Barbara’s Nursing Home in Monongah, WV. She also was the Field Manager for the Fairmont Field Club and the Bridgeport Field Club. Linda enjoyed reading, especially murder mysteries, antiquing, and going to yard sales. She also found joy in traveling across the nation and throughout the world. Memorial donations may be made in Linda’s memory to St. Barbara’s Nursing Home at 134 Co Rd 19/10, Monongah, WV 26554. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554.
