Obituary of Denis Kisner

Denis Kisner was born in Fairmont, WV on October 11, 1954. He died at Ruby Memorial Hospital at the age of 71, after a long battle with prostate cancer. He was predeceased by his parents Richard and Virginia Mae Kisner and two sisters Margie Cain and Etta Lynn Slack. He is survived by siblings Donald R. Kisner and Carol Reese, and many nephews and one niece. Although sick most of his youth, He was able to attend Garner Wedd University and attained a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1980 and a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1991. He served his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ until his death on May 13, 2026. The family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont.
