Obituary of Pamela Weekley Spencer
Pamela M. Weekley Spencer, 80, of Bridgeport, WV passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026 at her residence. She was born March 16, 1946 in Philippi WV, a daughter of the late Lee and Margaret Hodge Weekley. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger L. Spencer in 2018.
She is survived by her three sons, Roger Spencer II and his wife Melissa of Nutter Fort, WV, Michael Spencer and his wife Shanna of Tampa, FL and Jeffrey Spencer and his wife Abby of Raleigh, NC; eight grandchildren Deven Spencer, Caitlyn Spencer, Chelsea Witlock, Drew Spencer, Lexi Spencer, Kyle Spencer, Justin Spencer and Ayden Spencer; great grandchildren Zaiden Witlock, Berkleigh Turner, Ellowyn Spencer, and Kinley Deel; her boyfriend, John Bowers of Bridgeport; and her sister Nancy and Larry Hall of Bridgeport.
In addition to her husband, Pamela was preceded in death by her brother, Norman Weekley
Pamela was a 1964 graduate of Philip Barbour High School. After graduating beauty school and working a few years with another shop, she became the proud owner and operator of Hair Trends beauty shop in Bridgeport. She dedicated the majority of her time to the shop for over 41 years. She knew almost everyone in Bridgeport and had many close relationships with her clients. She provided years of hairdressing for weddings, proms, funerals and special occasions.
When she wasn’t working, Pam enjoyed her twice a year trips to Myrtle Beach where she loved a day in the sun. Her most important thing to her was her family and raising her three boys. She was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother.
