Obituary of Debbie Kay Cunningham

Debbie Kay Cunningham (McMillion), 72, of Rivesville, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her immediate family on Monday, April 20, 2026, in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born on October 24 1953 in Clarksburg, WV. The daughter of the late William H. Bartlett and M. JoAnn Bartlett (Courtney). Debbie is survived by her husband Robert T. Cunningham. She was survived by her two sons, Jason D. McMillion (Amanda) and Christopher A. McMillion (Sarah). She is also survived by her grandchildren Taylor McMillion (Keith), Jared Nuzum, Brayden McMillion, Logan McMillion, and Aaron McMillion, step grandchildren Craig Cunningham, Justin Cunningham, sister Sandra Jo Nuzum (David) and Gregory Allen Bartlett (Lisa). And numerous nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her mother, father, son, Chad William McMillion and brother Randy William Bartlett. Debbie was a graduate from Bridgeport High School in 1972. She worked for WVU Medicine. Debbie was a lover of her family and friends. She enjoyed the Amish country and her gatherings on Tuesday night with friends and family. She loved elimination dinners, bingos, and playing tips. She never knew no stranger and always gave her honest opinion on everything. Debbie always had a way of lighting up any room. She found her greatest enjoyment in spending precious time with her family, especially her grandchildren. The family has entrusted the arrangements to Ford Funeral Home. She will be cremated per her request. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date. Her ashes will also be spread on the family farm.
