Obituary of Mavis M. Kellar

Mavis M. Kellar, 90, of Rivesville, WV, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2026 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born on February 18, 1936 in Mannington, WV, the daughter of the late Charles O. and Estella Toothman Watson. Mavis was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arlie R. Kellar. She was a Protestant by faith and worked as an Artos Operator at Eastern Wire and Cable Company in NJ for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo, watching westerns, and enjoying the simple things of life. Mavis is survived by her three sons, Christopher Kellar of Rivesville, Arlie Kellar, Jr. and his wife Sandra of Ewing, NJ, and Kenneth Kellar and his wife Christine of Hamlin, Pennsylvania, as well as several grandchildren, and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mavis was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Kellar. The family has entrusted the arrangements to the DeGarmo Funeral Home, 207 Second Street, Rivesville, WV 26588. A private graveside service will be held for the family at a later date in Ewing, NJ.
