Obituary of James Dennis Stansbury, Jr.

James “Jimmy” “Bam Bam” Dennis Stansbury, Jr., 54, of Rivesville, WV, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2026 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was born on January 14, 1972 in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late James D. Stansbury Sr. and Roberta L. Handley Stansbury. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years of friendship, Jeanette M. Siegman Stansbury, whom he married on September 6, 2020. In addition to his wife, Jimmy is survived by his son, Richard Siegman and his wife Tiffany of Fairmont, daughters, Destiny Stansbury of Rivesville, and Jessica Stansbury Dunn and her husband Shaun of Alabama, and adopted daughter, Olivia Harbert of Fairmont. He is also survived by his sister, Angela Irvin and her husband Charles of Brooklyn Park, MD, friend, who was like his aunt, Terry Carallino of Rivesville, and special friend Alyssa Maze and her fiancé Cade Beatty of Rivesville, as well as several nieces and nephews. Jimmy worked locally as a Construction Supervisor with Beatty Construction. He was very talented and could accomplish any job needed. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing video games, and working on various projects from building to working crafts with his wife Jeanette. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his friends and family. The family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second Street, Rivesville. In accordance with his wishes, cremation services will occur. A celebration of life service will be held for the family at a later date.
