Obituary of Donald Ray Satterfield

Donald Ray Satterfield, 57, of Fairmont, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. He was born in Fairmont on February 7, 1969, a son to the late Sharon and James Tucker. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Lipscomb. He is survived by his siblings, David Satterfield and his wife Dolly of Goose Creek, SC., Deanna Yanero and her husband Jeff of Kings Mountain, NC, Wendy Tucker of Shinnston, WV, and Jimmy Tucker and his wife Tammy of Shinnston, WV. Donald is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, Isabella Johnson, Annalisa Yanero, Amber Satterfield, Whitney Castellano, Ashley Alicea-Hernandez, Stacia LeBlanc, and Jonathan Lamar, his aunt and uncle Tammy and Bill Wisenbailer of Fairmont, as well as several other family members and close friends. Donald was a coal miner at Consolidation Coal Company and Loveridge Mine and was a 1988 graduate of North Marion high School. He enjoyed spending his time helping other people, fishing, and listening to his favorite music, classic rock and folk/country music. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. There will be no public services.
