Obituary of Carol Jean (Parke) Secreto

Carol Jean (Parke) Secreto, 79, of Worthington, WV, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. She was born on March 20, 1946 in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Myron W. and Jessie P. Davidson Parke. Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband in 2019, Sam Secreto. She was a Methodist by faith and a proud homemaker in her home. Carol enjoyed crocheting, and spending precious time with her friends and family, especially her children and grandchildren. Carol is survived by her children, Saul Honaker and his wife Christy of Roy, WA, Ben Honaker of Sidney, OH, Linda Kerns and her husband Don of Worthington, WV, Tina Osbourne and her husband James of Sidney, OH, Marci McElroy and her husband Raymond of Fairmont, and Anita Rumney and her husband Mike of Fairmont, sisters, Barbara Shoemaker of Sidney, OH, June Francis of Piqua, OH, and Beverly Phyllis of Sidney, OH, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Alma Simindinger, brother, Myron Jr., along with an infant granddaughter. The family would like to extended a special thank you to the United Hospital Center Emergency Department, River Oaks Nursing Home, and Stonehaven Personal Care. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont. In accordance with Carol’s wishes, cremation services will occur.
