Obituary of Gregory Lynn Watkins

Gregory Lynn Watkins, 74, of Grafton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. He was born on May 10, 1951 in Fairmont, the son of the late Frank and Ann C. (Paton) Watkins. Gregory is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Brenda Jo (Damico) Watkins. In addition to his wife, Gregory is survived by his daughter, Shawna Hale and her husband Drew of Bridgeport, and grandsons whom he adored, Jaxon and Kase Hale. Gregory was a proud 1969 graduate of Fairmont Senior High School and a member of Boothsville United Methodist Church. He worked as the operations manager for Industrial Contracting for over 40 years, until retiring in 2016. In his spare time, Gregory enjoyed racing his Camero at the Eldora Raceway, following his grandsons in football, riding his motorcycle, and spending time in his garage doing anything and everything. He found his greatest enjoyment in spending precious time with his friends and family. The family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont.
