Obituary of Brenda Gail Merashoff
Brenda Gail Merashoff, 84, of Fairmont, peacefully passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 27, 1941, a daughter to the late Victor Emanuel and Lora Belle Foster Seccuro. She is survived by her loving husband, Nicholas (Dutch) Merashoff. Brenda was preceded in death by her former husband, Andrew Antolock Jr.
She is also survived by her Children, Joseph Paul Antolock of Fairmont, Scott Merashoff and his wife Carey of Independence, WV, and Andrea Neptune and her husband Andy of Barrackville, her grandchildren, Devon Neptune, Logan Neptune and Abby Haught, Kaitlyn Fletcher and her husband Logan, Lauryn Antolock and Ethan Bulger, Bryce Young, and Arley Merashoff, and her great-grandchildren, Layla Fletcher, and Ledger Fletcher. She is also survived by her siblings, Victor Seccuro and his wife Shellie of Morgantown, Danny Seccuro and his wife Sylvia of Celina, TX, Rose Verge of Fairmont, and Vicky Joy of Monongah, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents and late husband, Brenda was preceded in death by her son, Andrew Antolock III.
Brenda was a retired steelworker for Alcan Aluminum Company in Fairmont with 26 years of dedicated service. She was a Christian by faith and graduated from Farmington High School in 1960. Brenda was an avid bowler, softball player, and reader. She enjoyed puzzles, movies, storytelling, and served many roles in the United Steelworkers Local #1. Lovingly known to many as, Grandma B, she will be remembered for her impeccable storytelling. Everyone knows a good Brenda or Grandma B story.
Memorial donations can be made in Brenda’s name to the Marion County Humane Society at 2731 Locust Ave, Fairmont, WV 26554.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. Friends will be received on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 12 noon until 8p.m. and again on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 10a.m. until 11a.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 11a.m. with Mr. Tom Myers as Celebrant.
