Obituary of Sherry Lynn Sole Holcombe

Sherry Lynn Holcombe was a devoted and loving woman whose life was defined by her care for others and her deep commitment to family. She had a natural gift for nurturing those around her, always making sure people felt supported, welcomed, and loved. Family was the center of Sherry’s life. She took pride in looking after those she loved and found joy in the simple acts of kindness that made a difference in everyday life. Her compassion, generosity, and steady presence left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Frank Holcombe; her children, Lucas (Elizabeth) Holcombe and Ethan Holcombe; her grandchildren, Macie, Benjamin, and Alexander Holcombe; her sister, Janet (James) Paige; her brothers, David (Jackie) Sole, Michael (Debbie) Sole, Robert (Julie) Sole, and Timothy (Susan) Sole; and her brothers-in-law, Bill Steele, Terrell Price, and Charles Baylor, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and her friends at UHC. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Melvin and Mary Ruth Sole; and her sisters, Judy and her husband Byron Bailey, Joyce (Dee Dee) Steele, and Sheila (Kay) Price Baylor. Family and friends will be received at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints, Route 73, North, Fairmont at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026 for Sherry’s Celebration of Life.
