Obituary of Timothy Joseph Morrison

Timothy Joseph Morrison, 67, of Fairmont, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. He was born on September 5, 1958 in Fairmont, the son of the late Charles W. and Ada M. Rinehart Morrison. Timothy is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Barbara A. Saunders Morrison. Timothy was a proud 1976 graduate of Fairmont Senior High School and a 1981 graduate of Fairmont State College. He was a faithful member of Boothsville United Methodist Church and worked as a Case Manager with the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources for many years. Timothy was an avid sports fan, enjoyed playing tennis, foosball, and video games. In addition to his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by his brothers, James and Donald Morrison, as well as his sisters, Sue Ann Keener, and Penelope Spencer. Memorial contributions may be made in Timothy’s memory to Boothsville United Methodist Church, 19 Boothsville Road, Fairmont, WV 26554. The family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont. A graveside committal service will be held in the Clermont Cemetery, Fairmont on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 2pm with Reverend Dr. Michael Richards officiating.
