She was loved by all that knew her, but most of all by her family. Laura had many hobbies, among which were being an avid reader, cross-stitcher/seamstress, and card shark. She was a member of many different organizations over the years, some of which included: The Women's Club, The Marion County Historical Society, DAR, The Women's Auxiliary Club, The Mary Priscilla Group, and the Rock Lake Club. She was a member of Gateway United Methodist Church. Other than her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her loving husband, Archie Cain, Jr., a sister, Martha Cline, a brother, Walter Donehew, Brothers-in-law Bill Cain, Bob Cain, Howard Marin, and Leo Cline, and Sisters-in-law, Florence Robinson, Doris Lea Cain, and Annalee Cain, and a niece Charlene Cain.
