Obituary of Marie Terry Colton

Marie Terry Colton, 88, of Bridgeport passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at her home. She was born in Steubenville, OH a daughter of the late Archie James Terry and Flossie Gay Cork Terry. Marie is survived by two sons, Terry Colton and his wife Lisa of Grafton and Tracy Colton and his wife Regina of Shinnston; eight grandchildren, Justina Howell and her husband Russell, Nicole Colton, T.J. Colton and his wife Autumn, Felicia Connors and her husband Tim, Tyler Colton, Billy Colton and his wife Jessica, Dalton Colton, and Hailey Colton; eight great-grandchildren, Max Howell, Gabe Howell, Trey Blankenship, Myles Blankenship, Olivia Colton, Owen Colton, Maggie Sue Colton, and Clifford Colton; and three brothers, Denver Terry and his wife Carolyn of Bridgeport, John Terry and his wife Sarah of Parkersburg, and Wayne Terry and his wife Charlotte of Myrtle Beach, SC. In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Martin “Marty” Colton; brother, Lester Terry; and sisters, Maxine Ford and June Knode. Marie was a graduate of Doddridge County High School and retired secretary from Chenoweth Ford Car Dealership. She was a deeply religious person and Christian by faith. Her most cherished memories were with her family and friends. Marie lived in Myrtle Beach for 20 years and really enjoyed her time there.
