Obituary of Deborah Kay (Forte) Musgrove

Deborah Kay (Forte) Musgrove, 73, of Fairmont, peacefully passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025. She was born on March 31, 1952, a daughter to the late Virgil and Dolores Leston Forte. In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Lee Musgrove in December 2021. She is survived by her son, Robert Lee Musgrove II and his wife Amanda of Fairmont; daughter, Tracey Posgate and her husband Colin of Fairmont; three grandchildren, Ayla Webster, Tyler Musgrove, and Deklan Posgate, her sister Karen Ritter and her husband Doug of Massachusetts, and her close friends, Debbie and Kathy. Deborah was a graduate of Fairmont Senior High School a was a retired contract writer for the F.B.I. She loved being a grandmother to her grandchildren, going to the Green Hills Pool, shopping, Mexican food and margaritas, and had a special place in her heart for her dogs. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. Friends will be received in the funeral home on Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 2p.m. until 6p.m. and again on Monday, September 29, 2025 from 11a.m. until 12 noon. A funeral service will be held for Deborah in the funeral home Monday at 12 noon. A committal service will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Fairmont.
