Obituary of Ralph Edward Santy

Ralph Edward Santy, 76, of Valley Falls Community, Fairmont, WV, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 in the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. He was born on June 24, 1949 in Fairmont, the son of the late Cecil and Ruth Chiera Santy. Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Beverly J. Plummer Santy. In addition to his wife, Ralph is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Goodwin and her husband Rich of Masontown, WV, and Kelley Santy of Fairmont, and brother, Russell Santy and his wife Kelly of Fairmont. Ralph was a 1967 graduate of East Fairmont High School and attended Fairmont State College. He was a proud iron worker and a member of the Iron Workers Union 549. Ralph was also a member of the Rock Lake Club. In his free time, Ralph enjoyed fishing and hunting. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his sister, Kay Carter. The family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont. Friends will be received on Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 12 Noon until 4 pm and on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 1 pm until 2 pm. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 2 pm with Reverend Andy Newman. A service of committal will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Fairmont.
