Obituary of Mary Lou Stevens

Mary Lou Allen Stevens, 80, of Baxter, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, in her residence. She was born September 8, 1945, in Fairmont the daughter of the late Nathan and Emma Allen. Mary was a dedicated wife and homemaker who always cared for her children and grandchildren. Mary loved the outdoors, raising a garden, planting flowers, and feeding the birds. She enjoyed vacationing at camp in Capon with her family, WV and playing cards and games with family. Mary is survived by her son, Richard Stevens of Fairview; daughter, Tina Stevens Dick and her husband Tyler of Fairmont; sister, Virginia May Weekley; brother, Billie Joe Allen and Brenda; sister, Judy Allen Wells; sister, Emmagene and Don Narog; sister, Linda Kay and Jerry White; sister-in-law, Carol Bartges of Baxter; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert Stevens; daughter, Kimberly Malloy; brother, Daniel Allen; and sister, Elsie Warnick. The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 2nd & Jasper St., Rivesville, WV, 26588, on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Friday, September, 19, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bill Toothman officiating.
