Obituary of Patricia Ann Fleming

Patricia Ann Fleming, 84, of Rivesville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at the Tygart Center in Fairmont. She was born on July 4, 1941 in Fairmont, the daughter of the late Ora N. and Mary M. Osbourn Moore. Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James T. Fleming. Patricia was a Methodist by faith and worked as an obstetric nurse for 30 years. She enjoyed sewing, watching basketball, and was an avid WVU Mountaineer and Jacksonville Jaguar fan. She is survived by her son, James S. Fleming, grandsons, James M. Fleming and his wife Ashley, and James J. Fleming, great grandsons, James N. Fleming, and siblings Betty J. King, and Betty E. Roy. Memorial contributions may be in Patricia’s memory to the Rivesville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 66, Rivesville, WV 26588. The family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second Street, Rivesville, WV 26588. A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Grandview Memorial Gardens in Fairmont with Pastor David Stilgenbauer officiating.
