Obituary of Bradley "Shawn" Topardo

Bradley “Shawne” Topardo, 47, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025. He was born in Fairmont, West Virginia on November 16, 1977, a son to Timothy Joe Topardo, and the late Robin Meagan McDowell Topardo. In addition to his father, Shawne is survived by his grandmother, Sarah Jean Williams Topardo of Fairmont, brother Timothy J Topardo II (Cassie) of Morgantown, sister Stephanie Reay (Jason) of Florida, nephew Chase (Sierra) Leonard, niece Coral (Claude) Leonard, nephew Uriah Topardo, Uncle Larry (Joyce) Topardo, Aunt Lori (Gary) Gomolak, cousins Sarah Topardo, Joseph Topardo, Laura Gomolak and Jacob Gomolak. In addition to his mother, Shawne was proceeded in death by his sister Charity Marie Topardo and grandfather Joseph Topardo. Years ago, Shawne suffered from a car accident, leaving him partially paralyzed. He was a fighter and through years of recovery, he learned to live on his own and even learned how to drive. Shawne loved the outdoors, nature and all living things. Shawne was always first in line to try to make others’ lives easier or better in any way that he could. As an organ donor, Shawne wanted to know that upon his death his body would go to someone else in need. It was very important to him to be kind and loving, even if it simply meant holding the door for someone or just saying something nice. Shawne was always so appreciative and grateful of everything people would do for him. How much he loved and enjoyed family dinners. Shawne and his “heart of gold” will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554.
