Amanda Sizemore, 49, of North Chesterfield, VA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. She was born on July 15, 1976 in Fairmont, West Virginia to Pennie Lynn Sanford and the late Adair Lee Sanford. She is proceeded in death by her father, Adair Sanford; brother, Vernon Sanford; grandmother, JoAnn Moon; and great grandparents, Roy and Vuenela Heater. As well as grandfather, Jack Moon; brother-in-law, Robert Wright; and biological father, William D. Shriver. As well as grandparents Jack and Ellen Michael. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Robert Sizemore; son, Christopher Sizemore, mother, Pennie Sanford; and sister, Veronica Chisler (Neil). Amanda is also survived by her nieces, Kelsi Wilson (Preston) and Morgan Wright as well as a great niece, Zoey Statler; and great nephews, Rhett and Briggs Wilson; and along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Amanda Sizemore was a woman whose life was rooted deeply in love for her family—family was everything to her. Strong-willed and full of heart, she poured her energy into the simple joys of life, finding peace in lawn work, tending to her flower garden, and crafting hand towels with care. A devoted friend and encourager, Amanda was known for sending heartfelt notes filled with love and support to those she held dear. She had a soft spot for pigs and wolves, a love for country music, and a spirit that was tender to God’s will. Her faith guided her, and she prayed earnestly for her loved ones. Always ready to lend a helping hand, Amanda lived with compassion, going out of her way to uplift others with her quiet strength and unwavering kindness. There will be a visitation from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. followed immediately by her service at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23234. A service of committal will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 10 am in the McCurdysville Cemetery in McCurdysville, West Virginia with Pastor Freddy Eddy officiating.
