Obituary of Robert Lynn Kent

Robert Lynn Kent, 75, of Morgantown, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. He was born on February 21, 1950, a son to the late Edgar Ray and Ruth Eleanor Smith Kent. He is survived by his children, Brian Kent of Charlottesville, Virginia, and Marcie Block of Virginia Beach, Virginia, his brother Gary Kent and his wife Nancy of Statesboro, Georgia, and his sisters, Cynthia Ferrell and her husband Ronald of Parkersburg, and Neala Owens and her husband W.D. of Bethlehem, Georgia. Robert was the Director of Career Development at West Virginia University and proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was a graduate of Parkersburg South High School in 1968, West Virginia University in 1972, and went on to earn his Masters. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. All services will be private for the family.
