We've known Karen through Dr. Wysner and Dr. VanHorn's offices for many, many years. We both have commented many times how she reflected the joy of the Lord. She had a pleasant disposition, always smiling with a twinkle in her eyes. Neither of us have observed her in any way but pleasant and cheerful. We were shocked to learn of her death. The only positive thing to come out of this is that she is now with her husband and her mother. Twila was a fellow DAR daughter who was also pleasant and cheerful. Karen's husband also loved history. We will definitely miss seeing her smile and hear her welcoming voice when we go to the eye doctor. May God comfort those left behind.
