Obituary of Nora Gay Jones Nestor

Nora Gay Jones Nestor, 87, of Rivesville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 in the Fairmont Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Parsons, WV on August 8, 1937. A daughter to the late Ellis and Dessie Moore Jones. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Hugh Nestor. In addition to her husband, Nora is survived by her children, Tim Nestor and his wife Nancy of Rivesville, and Mike Nestor and his wife Elizabeth of Grafton, her brother, Eugene Jones and his wife Sandra of Parsons, her sister, Rhonda Jones of Agusta, two grandchildren, Alicia Harker and her husband Brad of Fairview, and Michael Richard Nestor and his wife Jennifer of Grafton. Nora is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, along with many nieces and nephews. Nora was a retired Utility Operator for Philips Lighting Co. She was a methodist by faith and attended Highlawns United Methodist Church. Arrangement have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second Street, Rivesville WV 26588.
