Obituary of Roberta Lea Stealey

Roberta Lea Stealey, 59, of Fairmont, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 9, 2025. She was born in Fairmont on December 16, 1966. A daughter to the late Robert Stealey and Mary K. Martin. She is survived by her siblings, Lois Martin of Fairmont, and James Martin Jr. of Waynesburg, P.A. She is also survived by her uncles, Ed Bunner, Charles Bunner, and Howard Bunner, her cousins, Valinda Korbut, and Christian Bunner, her nieces, Katie, Autumn, and Iris, and her nephews, Garrett and Logan. Roberta was a graduate of East Fairmont High School class of 1984 and was a Christian by faith. She was a huge Start Trek enthusiast, enjoyed reading, and spending time with family and close friends. She also was the mother to her feline friend “Sugar”. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. In accordance with her wishes, cremation services will occur. The family will host a private celebration of life at a later date.
