Obituary of Shyla Marie Prahl

Shyla Marie Prahl, 50, of Monongah, passed away at Ruby Memorial Hospital on Friday, May 9, 2025. She was born in Fairmont on July 21, 1974. A daughter to the late Noel and Debra Jean Shipley Parker. She is survived by her loving sons, Dylan Prahl and his wife Mariah of Fairmont, and Kristofer Prahl of Monongah, her step-brother, Richie Harvey, her step-father, Richard Paugh, and her granddaughter, Isabella Prahl. Shyla was a wonderful mother to her sons, and also dearly loved all of her adopted sons who were close friends to Dylan and Kristofer. She enjoyed spending time with close friends and family, but most of all, she enjoyed every second of time she had with her beloved granddaughter. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. In accordance with her wishes, cremations services will occur.
