Obituary of Sharon Ann Mike Pettit

Sharon Ann Mike Pettit, 68, of Fairmont, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born on May 6, 1956 in Fairmont, the daughter of the late Bruce W. and Mary L. Wilson Mike. Sharon attended Mannington High School and the Baxter Church of God. She lovingly cared for her home. Sharon enjoyed cookouts, working puzzles, coloring on her tablet, spending time with her dog, and precious time with her dear friends and family. Sharon is survived by her 5 beloved children, Robert Hayes, Bruce Hayes and his wife Barbara, Clavin Shonce and his wife Renee, Leroy Shonce Jr., all of Fairmont, and Kelly Shonce and her fiancé Jason Parsons of Doddridge County, brother, Harold Mike and his wife Monica Maiden of Fairmont, 22 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, brother-in-law, Dale Bowman of Fairmont, sister-in-law, Pamela Mike of Michigan, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Butch Mike, and two sisters, Sue Salway, who was her best friend, and her husband Clarence, and Patsy Jean Bowman. The family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont. Friends will be received on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 4 pm until 8 pm.
