Obituary of Kathryn Dawn Copenhaver Comas

Kathryn Dawn Copenhaver Comas, 59, of Morgantown passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 15, 1965, in Hampton, VA, a daughter of the late Thomas Kenneth Copenhaver and Doris Jane Moran Copenhaver. Kathryn is survived by her companion, Charles Comas; children, Kari Copenhaver, Jeffrey Dumire, Jr., Robbie Comas, Derek Renshaw, and Joey Renshaw; brother, Jeff Copenhaver; close friend, Kelly Shaffer; and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her soul mate, Ray Renshaw; sister, Jolinda DeAnn Miller; and brothers, Kenneth John Copenhaver and Thomas Kevin Copenhaver. Kathryn worked at the John Manchin Healthcare Center in Fairmont and was a graduate of Central Preston High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family, diamond art, and gambling.
