Obituary of Anne Louise Meredith

Anne Louise Meredith, 68, of Summersville, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, March 27, 2025. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 24, 1956, a daughter to the late Dr. Leavitt Carr Meredith and Sally Ann McLane Meredith Hall Longmire. She is survived by her sister, Mary Beth Atwell and her husband Buddy of Fairmont, her brothers, Leavitt Meredith of Fairmont, and Charles Meredith and his wife Connie of Fairmont, along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, J. Harper and Elizabeth Meredith, and her maternal grandparents, William McLane Jr. and Margaret Ewing. Anne was a loving and happy woman with a great sense of humor. She never went anywhere without her Micky or Minnie Mouse stuffed animal. She enjoyed being surrounded by her loving family. The family would like to express a very special thank you to all of Anne’s caregivers over the years for their wonderful love, care, and kindness. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554. Cremation services will occur.
