I recently lost somebody that I went to school with at Fairmont State College/University. While I was seeing his eulogy, I thought why not look back over the year to see if there's anybody else I would know who might have passed away, and there it was, it's hard to believe that I came across Cappy's obituary. I knew him as Cappy because I work with him very closely and would became very good friends in the late '70s when I worked for a James Manchin as a driver, my my father and him were friends when they were in their early twenties and he introduced me to A James and he asked me if I wanted to have a job for the summer which turned out to be a 5-year job, 3 summers and 2 full-time years. I lived in Fairview and graduated in 75 and Cappy and I always had a great friendship because he was from Farmington. I was shocked when I saw the picture because I completely lost contact with him after 1983 when I moved to California for 30 years, but many times I wondered over the years when I thought about Cappy whatever happened to him. So, I wanted to post these words letting his family and friends know that he was a stand-up guy, really great to be around and easy to be friends with. Now that I know where he was and what he did with his life creating a great family makes me really feel good about his life and contributions. I truly feel it's never too late to say I'm sorry that he's gone and I wish you all condolences who are family and friends, that I was truly a good friend as well for those three to five years we knew each other, RIP Cappy, your friend from Fairview, Michael Norris.
