Obituary of Linda Frances Morgan

Linda Frances Thrall Morgan, 76, of Bunner Ridge, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025 in her residence. She was born March 6, 1949 in Culpepper, VA, a daughter of the late Charles Perry and Anna L. Frazier Thrall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lee Morgan on January 17, 2012. Linda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Fairmont. She was a homemaker in her own home. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Linda loved listening to country music, especially Loretta Lynn, watching WVU sports, and adored caring for her cats. Linda is survived by her son, Greggory S. and Rena Thrall of Fairmont, her daughter, Jennifer and Jess Stewart of Fairmont, her grandchildren: Eva L. Thrall, Kelsey Rector and her fiancée Brady Smith, and Margaret Stewart, and her two great-grandchildren, Sadie and Maycee Smith. She is also survived by her siblings, Tiny Baker of Linden, VA, Deborah Dove of Vass, NC, and Brenda Powers of Raleigh, NC, as well several nieces and nephews including, Barbara Sacks, Cynthia Dent, Bruce Sacks, and Robin Sacks. In addition to her husband and parents, Linda was preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Allen Morgan, her siblings, Shirley Patricia Sanford, Margaret Slayton, Lonnie Deal, Donnie Deal, Randy Deal, and Barbara Booth, and her in-laws, Pete and Ruth Morgan. The family has entrusted the arrangements to Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV. Family and friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 11AM until 2PM. The funeral will be held in the funeral home at 2PM with Brother David Cox officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery and Mausoleum in Fairmont.
