Obituary of Alice Marie Grant Robinson

Alice Marie Grant Robinson, 63, of Fairmont, West Virginia passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025 in the Fairmont Medical Center – WVU Medicine. She was born October 6, 1961 a daughter of the late Paul Lewis Grant and Colleen Joy Townsley Grant. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Leon Robinson on October 24, 2021. She is survived by her son Logan Grant Robinson of Fairmont, WV, two brothers and a sister in law Bryan Grant of Freelandville, Indiana and Keith and Terri Grant of Carthage, NC and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Danny Grant. Alice was a retired secretary from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) in Morgantown, WV. She owned and operated Suite Six Antique Store in Fairmont and also made custom wall paper for customers in the area. Alice enjoyed traveling and visiting the Outer Banks in North Carolina, Ocean City, Maryland and Tampa, Florida. The family will receive friends at the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554 on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 12 Noon until 4 pm. The Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 4:00 pm with Pastor Bill Toothman officiating. A private service of committal will be held for the family at a later time.
