
Obituary of Bryleigh Ann Vermilyen
Bryleigh Ann Vermilyen, 14, passed away on February 4, 2025. She was born on September 17, 2010, in Parkersburg, the daughter of Vickie Vermilyen and Quincy Lewis.
Bryleigh was a cherished member of her family and community. She attended North Marion High School as a member of the Class of 2028. She found joy and purpose in attending Calvary Mission Church in Parkersburg, Parkersburg First Assembly of God, and Covenant Church in Fairmont, where she made many friends and lasting memories.
Bryleigh loved spending time with her family, creating moments of laughter and love. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brothers; Kendall, Matthew, and Ethan; her sisters, Justice, Zoey, Ziera, and Andrina; her nieces, Mariana and Viola; and her nephew, Mylo. She will also be deeply missed by her grandparents, Dolores and John Vermilyen; Errol Lewis.
Bryleigh was preceded in death by her grandmother, Beverly Lewis.
Bryleigh's bright spirit and kind heart touched the lives of all who knew her. She enjoyed playing softball, cooking, drawing, singing, theatre, and making those around her laugh. Bryleigh will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love for her family, and the joy she brought to everyone around her.
The family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont. Friends will be received on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 10 am until 12 Noon. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 12 Noon with Pastor Chris Hunt officiating. A service of committal will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Monongah.
