Helen was my neighbor throughout my entire childhood! Her whole family was a blessing to my family! I have such wonderful memories of walking to the post office to get the mail daily during the summer and sitting on a stool talking with Helen as i grew up! The older i got the more impactful our conversations became! She always encouraged me to trust in God and have faith in Him! She also taught me those things by the way she lived her life. When things were hard in my family she would comfort me and many times her and Frank opened their home to us when things were hard! She was a wonderful friend to my grandma louise after we all moved away and grandma moved into that home in Montana. Her family watched over her and helped her with things at the house and yard work or whatever gran needed! I will be forever grateful to Tommy, Nancy, Debbie, David and Bradley along with Helen for being good friends to my family!! I will never forget Helen or frank! I still have many of the newslettters Frank published for our community!! Sweet memories! Love and comfort to the family!! Erica Malone Willer

Helen was one of the lights of my childhood — the kind of person whose kindness shaped you without you even realizing it at the time. When I was young, Helen and Frank took me to Sunday school every week. Later, after we moved to the other side of town, I would walk to meet them — and they were always there. Steady. Faithful. Welcoming. That consistency meant more than I can ever fully express. Helen’s impact on my spirituality is something I carry with me to this day. She didn’t just teach faith; she lived it. Her kindness was gentle but powerful, the kind that made you feel safe, seen, and loved. Some people leave their mark through grand gestures. Helen did it through small, faithful acts of love week after week. I am forever grateful for the foundation she helped lay in my life. May her memory be a blessing, and may the same kindness she poured into others continue to ripple outward for generations.

Helen was the most wonderful person. I have lifelong memories of her. If it wasn't at church, it was walking to the post office with my grandma to get the mail. She had all the community kid's pictures on her corkboard if the post office. Helen earned her spot in Heaven. The world will miss her kindness.
