Posts to the tribute of Betty Mae (Rollins) Watson

Mrs Watson was my second grade teacher at Morgan in the early 70's and was absolutely one of my favorite teachers. She had a lasting impact on me for sure. Even years later as an adult when I would see her we would reminisce about Morgan. She was such a dear sweet person. Many fond memories of her and my years at Morgan. Rest in peace

Mrs. Watson was my supervising teacher when I did my student teaching at Morgan in the fall of 1974. She was an exceptional teacher….not only for her students, but also for me….we kept in touch for several years afterwards. I saw her about 3 years ago..had a ‘remember when’ conversation…she hadn’t changed..was impeccably dressed, beautiful smile, and endearing hug before we parted. Condolences to her husband, daughter and family.
